VISION-FLOW REDEFINES SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
VISION-FLOW Software GmbH is an Austrian software manufacturer. The core product of Vision Flow is the development and implementation of the ‘DLE - Dynamic Logic Engine’. Aware that standardised software solutions are reaching their limits in a rapidly changing market environment such as logistics, VISION-FLOW has set itself the task of redefining software development as we know it today. With the ‘DLE - Dynamic Logic Engine’, a modular software principle has been developed that makes it possible to realise fast, agile and user-friendly software solutions together with customers. The philosophy here is to involve end users and organisers in the development process in such a way that existing software processes and landscapes can be independently adapted, integrated and individually expanded in their functional scope in the future.
THE CURRENT SOFTWARE LANDSCAPE IN COMPANIES
Over the years, shadow systems have emerged in every company. Systems that have arisen because existing ERP packages do not cover the needs of the employees at all or only insufficiently. With the DLE, such shadow systems can be re-integrated into the existing system landscape or auxiliary systems can be seamlessly integrated.
OUR NETWORK COMBINES AROUND 40 YEARS OF EXPERTISE
About four decades ago the logistics company delacher + co started logistics and IT projects, where they were also initiated the development and implementation of absolutely flexible and user-friendly systems.
This led to the idea of founding the spin-off company - trans-flow Logistics software GmbH - in 1991, where we developed a multimodal logistics ERP package and successfully established it with our consultants on the international market.
With the increasing of global networking, especially in the field of logistics, we saw the need and the time for the realization of our idea to develop a new workflow- and process-oriented product range. With the core team of trans-flow, we founded the company VISION-FLOW in 2003 and created a completely new system, the Dynamic Engine Family, together with universities and the largest german logistics software provider Active Logistics. With unprecedented flexibility and agility, new requirements and functionalities can be realized within the shortest possible time beyond the complete value chain, taking into account existing systems.
Besides, in 2009 we strengthened our partnership with GBU Unternehmens-Informatik in Dornbirn, not only an interesting bundling of resources and technologies but also a sensible expansion of our product and service range, which has thus grown to include a comprehensive ERP package with special functionality for the brewing and textile industries.
Equipped with this tool and based on the expertise and reputation of our employees, we were now able to concentrate again on the signals of the market. On its parquet, we were able to successfully assist many customers, for example also the "Swiss Post" - especially in complex system implementations and conversions. Motivated by this need and success, we handled many interesting projects together with our former colleagues from the consulting area, the "Calleo Group", to be available together as a network "actio retis" - a network of specialists from July 2010 even more impressively for our customers.
In autumn 2010, we were able to expand our portfolio in the logistics sector by an essential component, supply chain management, through cooperation with the company xpertlog. Mr Andreas Dür, Managing Director of xpertlog, brings years of experience in international consulting and implementing SCM projects into our network.
At the end of 2019, the existing network expanded with the founding of a new company in the field of supply chain finance - Fin4Log GmbH. The experience and core competencies from the existing businesses like software development, supply chain management and finance were brought together and bundled in our supply chain finance platform. Fin4Log platform provides a new way of financing and helps its partners and customers to optimise the value chain in the long term.
